MEGGIE HAS GONE ON TRIAL TO HER NEW HOME
Hello there my name is Meggie and aren’t I a Bonnie girl? , but you see I am so very sad at the moment. The one person I loved more than anything in the whole wide world is not there any more. I keep looking for her but I canna find her, I have searched the house, sat on her chair , waited by the door but she doesn’t come. I sit at the window looking out for her, wondering when she is coming up that path, but she never does. My mam who was 93 always used to sit in her chair and tell me stories, I would sit at her feet ,look up at her with my head in her lap and let her stroke me . I could sit all day doing that…My uncle has told me she’s with the angels now but I don’t understand what that means. I keep thinking I smell her perfume thus I lie on her clothes in my basket at night , that makes me feel close to her. I am three and a half years old and have been spayed. I am good with other dogs and love to play. I’m not used to being with wee ones but as I’m so friendIy I should be ok. I loved my mum so much but by jings she had funny ways.! Do you know I got bathed outside in an old tin bath! I used to stand there no very impressed while my mum fussed and gave me a shampoo and set! ….I used to love going with her on jaunts in the car. I used to sit on her lap like a queen telling her where to go!…she will always be my queen you know……My uncle is very sad that I have to go but he wants me to get the bestest ever home I could get. I have heard on the staffie grapevine that these folk in staffie rescue may be the ones to help him with that……If you could help me grieve for my mam, let me sit at your feet, stroke my head and tell me it’s going to be okay , could you phone my Auntie Shona on 07725632232 , and maybe just maybe I will start to love you as much as I did my mam, and to my mam “Night Night ,I promise you I will be ok and be such a good girl” lots of sweet blue girl staffie kisses Meggie xxx
