Another first timer! 6 Months ago Karma: 1
Hi to everyone on the Staffie forum

This is my first post too, so I hope that this works! I've been meaning to sign up for a while as I am a great fan of the work that SSBTR do. The piccy is of my Staffie, Cara, who came from SSBTR - my second Staffie from the organisation and my 3rd Staffie so far. She's a fantastic girl and is currently toasting herself in front of the fire while I recover from the flu......

Hope to hear from some of you and look forward to getting involved in the forum.

A Staffie toasting itself in front of the fire surely not!!! Hope your flu goes away soon by the way is that man flu or real flu

Hi, and thanks for the welcome messages. I can confirm it is real flu and not man flu (being as I'm a girl ). And yes - if it's not the fire with Cara then it is sneaking under the duvet if she gets the chance. I don't know of any other breed of dog that loves to be so cosy. I am pretty sure that most other Staffie owners on here have witnessed the 'Staffie nesting dance'. If you need me to explain that then you haven't seen it

yep our bitch Kai has the duvet down to a fine art, she gets under the twirls it round her and then she lies down, so shes lying on it and under it - maximum comfort! It's quite hard to untangle her sometimes!!

We don't have a fire for her to lie in front of but she's figured out that if she curls up really tight she can fit in the cats radiator bed - has to be seen to be believed

Brilliant! My first Staffie, Woody, used to follow patches of sun around the house - as long as he could get his nose in a bit of sunlight he was happy. Resulted in some great contortions!
