On Christmas Eve I received a call from a vet nurse to say they had a staffie pup handed in. One of the vets' clients heard a lot of squealing and when he went to find out what was going on he found teenagers kicking the wee soul about the place and having a great laugh. Well, the old man asked if he could get the dog off them and after given the lads £20 he got the dog.

He thought there was something wrong with the wee mans leg so took him to his own vet. The vet x-rayed him and found that his front left leg was broken and front right had a greenstick fracture. His left leg needed pinned but they left his right leg in the hope it would heal itself.

I had him brought to my home on 5 th January and he settled in very well. He wanted to play with my dog Bandit but at first I was a bit worried in case he hurt himself even more. Eventually I just let him play and he had a ball. I had him for about 2 weeks and when he settled for the night he liked nothing better than having a cuddle before he went into his cage.

He has been rehomed to a wonderful home in Wales and is now a brother to Scooter and Walter. He has had a vet check and everything seems to be going well. The vet reckons the pin in his leg can stay where it is for the time being but thinks there may be some tendon damage in his right leg. But feels given time it will heal.
